Role overview
We are looking for a skilled Core Java Developer to develop and maintain backend applications for IoT and building systems. The ideal candidate should have strong Core Java expertise, experience with REST APIs and JSON, and a good understanding of scalable and multithreaded application development. Exposure to building automation protocols and Niagara Framework will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Core Java-based backend applications.
- Build and consume REST APIs and handle JSON data.
- Work on scalable, multithreaded Java components.
- Collaborate with UI, QA, and product teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews and documentation.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong Core Java (Java 8+).
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, collections, and multithreading.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Git / version control.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Niagara Framework (AX / N4).
- Knowledge of building systems protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
- Basic React.js or frontend exposure.
- IoT domain experience.
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Self-motivated and quick learner.
