Role overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically sound Software Engineers to join our Embedded Systems development team. The role involves software development, debugging, testing, and integration for embedded and IoT-based products across various industries.
The position requires strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies and development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded firmware under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support software design, coding, debugging, and integration activities.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
- Perform unit testing, functional testing, and defect resolution.
- Work with microcontrollers, embedded platforms, and hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and software development activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and development records.
Required Technical Skills
- Good understanding of C and C++ programming fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, pointers, memory management, and object-oriented programming.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and computer architecture.
- Familiarity with operating systems, Linux fundamentals, and software development concepts.
- Basic understanding of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with debugging tools, compilers, IDEs, and version control systems such as Git.
- Good analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong academic foundation in programming and software engineering fundamentals.
Preferred Skills
- Academic projects or internships involving embedded systems, firmware development, IoT, or Linux-based applications.
- Exposure to microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex-M, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of RTOS, multithreading, and embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Git.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and communication protocols.
